Woodworking Fundamentals
In this introductory course, you will learn to safely operate woodworking machinery and hand tools including the jointer, planer, table saw, bandsaw, miter saw, drill press, routers, and sanders. Gain knowledge and best practices for milling and squaring rough lumber, the foundation for building any piece of furniture. Wood characteristics, grain selection, and finishing will also be discussed. By the end of the course, you will complete your own unique cutting board and will have learned essential woodworking fundamentals in the process.
No prior experience needed.
Class Price: $249 (all materials and taxes included).
Class Duration: 6 Hours of instruction.
Class Size: Maximum class size is 6 students.
